Being
a keen environmentalist and climber, I travel at least
once a year to
somewhere I‚ve not been before, and these pictures
are a collection from
Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, North America, the Alps
and Wales. I try as
much as possible to take advantage of the way in which
the camera and film
can be manipulated to add a twist to the landscape in
order to further emphasise the beauty of the environment.
Although I applaud any photographer who highlights the
destruction we are causing through our selfish behaviour,
I feel that it is equally important to remind ourselves
of how beautiful the world still is, that way, we might
be less inclined to keep trying to cause it harm. |
