Before becoming a BSR practitioner Chris raced Downhill
Mountain Bikes at international level.
The sport can be very demanding with lots of training
and travelling.
“I would suffer injuries quite often, as I’m
sure trees would jump out in front of me!
Always wanting to be as fit and free from injury as
possible I would often go to someone to get myself sorted
out, never really benefiting from it or getting much
relief.
It was not until a friend suggested that I should go
and see a BSR Practitioner in Westerham (which was an
hour’s drive away), this is when my body started
to respond to the process. I started to become more
flexible and less stiff in the mornings.
This was a life changing process for me, as I stopped
racing, left work and went to South Africa to study
and train to become a BSR practitioner myself.”Chris
studied Body Stress Release in South Africa. He is a
member of the Body Stress Release Association UK, which
governs practitioners by a constitution with regards
to our code of ethics and professional standards. Chris
is also a member of the B.C.M.A, and the secretary for
the UK Body Stress Release association.
In the years following I have built a busy practice
in Hailsham, and one day a week I work in a therapy
room in Covent Garden, London. |
