I am originally from Portugal and have had a keen interest
in natural therapies since an early age.
After six years in Hawaii, I graduated as a Massage
Therapist from the
Hawaiian College of Clinical Massage in 1996. During
this period I also studied Reiki becoming a Reiki Master
in 1997. While in Hawaii, I practiced at the Therapeutic
Massage Centre in Honolulu, as well as working on professional
athletes as a Sports Massage Therapist.
Since moving to England I studied Shiatsu at the Shiatsu
College in Brighton for three years.
As well as practicing Shiatsu privately, I am actively
involved in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis patients
at the Southwick Multiple-Sclerosis Centre. I am involved
in a research project which will assess the benefits
of Shiatsu for people with MS. |
