| Justine
is a BSY qualified Hatha yoga and meditation teacher.
She worked successfully as a field sales representative
in Somerset before relocating to East Sussex, where
she retrained and made a career switch to teaching,
which she considered to be a more fulfilling and spiritually
rewarding path. She has been practising the many styles
of yoga including Iyengar and Ashtanga for over seven
years and has a keen interest in Indian philosophy,
which she is continually developing. Her main objective
is to guide people to cultivate a powerful and life
enhancing meditation practice.
Alongside her yoga practice she meditates daily and
finds meditation to be not only an excellent tool for
personal growth/exploration, but as an excellent facilitator
for restoring and optimizing health, bringing the many
systems of the body into balance in a naturopathic way.
In addition to the endless list of health benefits,
meditation assists the participant in awakening spiritually,
where one’s centre of gravity makes a shift from
the ego limited to the Authentic self, giving way to
a deepening sense of inspiration about creating the
future. For those on a more spiritual path, of course
Buddhist meditation is the primary route to accessing
the divine or enlightened self, enabling the seeker
to rest more and more in everpresent awareness and ultimately
the attainment of Samadhi, or Cosmic Consciousness.
Justine brings techniques from Zen Buddhist teacher,
Genpo Roshi’s remarkable “Big Mind”
process exploring different aspects of the psyche, to
accompany Buddhist meditation techniques.
