Sarah Wratten is a fully-qualified homeopath and a registered
member of the Society of Homeopaths (RSHom; www.homeopathysoh.org).
She trained at the South East College of Homeopathy,
where she gained her Licentiate (LSECH).Sarah Wratten
trained in Practical Homeopathy, which gives her the
tools to approach each case from a number of angles
and select the most suitable method for treating the
individual at an appropriate pace and depth. Where possible,
she tries to keep prescriptions simple and easy to follow.
Sarah has a general practice and treats a wide variety
of conditions, including acute problems, depression/anxiety,
joint pain, post-viral fatigue, skin conditions and
women's health issues. Being a mother herself, she especially
enjoys treating children.Sarah Wratten's approach is
gentle and thorough, intelligent and caring. She is
extremely easy to talk to and has an ability to empathise
uniquely with her patients, which enables a solid and
trusting relationship to be established. She has a special
interest in counselling skills and the therapeutic relationship
and has undertaken additional training in this area.
She uses these skills and her homeopathic knowledge
to get to the centre of the case and gain a full understanding
of what it is that needs to be healed.
What her patients say:
'My primary reason for consulting a homeopath was to
find additional support for my Crohn's Disease, a gastrointestinal
disorder I was diagnosed with over 15 years ago. As
an academic research scientist I was somewhat sceptical
about the homeopathic practice, but was open to an alternative
to orthodox medicine. During my first session with Sarah
I immediately felt that here was someone willing to
take the time to thoroughly understand the nature of
my condition, which is well known for it's diverse symptoms.
Sarah has the amazing gift of being able to encourage
you to talk in a coherent way about extremely difficult
feelings and emotions, whilst giving you the sense of
being fully heard and validated by a caring professional.
I truly felt I could trust her with my deepest darkest
secrets! Since that initial consultation we have touched
on many aspects of my life, both physical and emotional.
Sarah has supported me through my pregnancy and the
birth of my first baby, Oliver, which I strongly believe
has helped me to stay calm under the pressures of parenthood
and be more in touch with my son. For this I am ever
in awe of the multi-faceted nature of homeopathy and
Sarah's ability to treat both body and mind.'

'For the last 3-4 years my hands have been so painful
that it has put in doubt my ability to continue with
my occupation. I have seen my GP who referred me to
a specialist at the hospital who carried out various
examinations and tests but who was unable to provide
a diagnosis. With no diagnosis a consultant is unable
to provide any treatment! I was left in the certain
knowledge that from that quarter I would be left to
struggle on in severe pain. I decided at this point
that I would try an alternative... since my first appointment
in May I can honestly say that things have gradually
improved, to the extent now where I hardly notice any
pain at all, except for a few minutes first thing in
the morning and an occasional aching if I have done
too much. I just wish I had taken this route in the
first instance, as no diagnosis is needed, but merely
a history and presenting symptoms and then treatment.
Had I still been going to the hospital I have no doubt
at all that I would, by now, be out of work. Thank you
for helping me to heal my body.'

'I think everyone should have a homeopath. Sarah Wratten
has shown me a kindness that has allowed me to open
up and express myself. She listens without judgement
and with a view to seeking solutions using homeopathic
remedies. Despite my cynicism, over the last six months
close friends have noticed a transformation in me. Homeopathy
has worked for me where acupuncture, astrology, counselling,
my GP, massage, self-help books, tai chi and a variety
of other approaches have not.'
